Software Licenses
Software from this web site may be freely downloaded and used on most computers at the University (see individual software packages for restrictions).
Microsoft and Macintosh operating systems are usually included with the purchase of a new machine. The license for an older operating system may not be available for purchase, in this case you may purchase the new version of the operating systems and still be licensed to use the old version.
Operating system upgrades and all other licensed software must be purchased. Please use UA Computing and Technology Store (CATS) to purchase software at significant educational discounts.
